On Thursday, the Buccaneers announced they have released kicker Nick Folk, who had spent the last three months of the 2017 season on injured reserve.

Folk was the Buccaneers’ kicker to begin the 2017 season before being replaced by Patrick Murray. After making six of 11 field goals and seven of nine extra point attempts over four games, he was placed on injured reserve on October 7.

During an 11-year career with the Buccaneers, Dallas Cowboys and New York Jets, Folk has hit on 245 of his 305 field goal tries and 342 of his 346 PATs.
