CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Bucs' offensive line will have the services of starting right guard Jamon Meredith today, as he is dressed and active for the game against the Panthers.

The Bucs had been making contingency plans in case Meredith's ankle injury kept him out of the game, but the improvement Meredith showed late last week apparently continued through the weekend.

Also active is receiver Arrelious Benn, who did not play last week because of a shoulder injury. It's unclear whether he will return kickoffs, as coach Greg Schiano said he might consider using cornerback LeQuan Lewis as he did last week.
