Peter King Is Inspiring

I haven’t done an entry on any of Peter King‘s stuff in a long time. And it’s not because I’m holding a grudge because he never writes anything positive about the Bucs or because I find his writing consistently pretentious and douchy. It’s because he has no brain. None. Just a big hole in his skull stuffed with coffee-soaked oatmeal. It’s both inspiring and fascinating that he can shout syllables into a microphone and crank out material every couple days, but it doesn’t make for good articles on my end, so I stopped. He actually bothered to mention the Bucs in his Fine Fifteen column today, so I thought I’d give him another visit here.

Bucs get chance to take NFC South lead after Saints’ loss

Practically no one saw this coming.

With the Bucs headed to New Orleans on Sunday for a game against the Saints, the Bucs can take possession of first place in the NFC South. This didn't seem likely prior to the Saints' upset loss to the Rams on Sunday, but that surprising 31-21 defeat against previously winless St. Louis has given the Bucs a big opportunity.

MVP Watch, Week 8

1. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (Last week: 1). Stats: 70.2 % completion rate, 2031 yards, 17 TD, 3 INT, 122.5 QB rating; 27 carries, 67 yards, 2 TD.
He keeps stacking touchdowns and wins. The Packers went to the running game to finish the Vikings but Rodgers looked in the zone once again.
