Potential lockout would be hard on Bucs’ new coaches

Every team will be adversely affected from a preparation standpoint if and when there is a lockout in the NFL this season.

But the situation will be especially hard on teams with new coaches, particularly head coaches and coordinators. Even teams like the Bucs will be affected as Tampa Bay has new offensive and defensive line coaches.

Dominik Says Don’t Assume DE

Is there any way we can have one downlineman and six linebackers on the field at once? Because that would be awesome.
In an press conference at the combine this weekend, Mark Dominik told everyone listening that people shouldn’t just take for granted that the Bucs will select a defensive end in the first round despite the fact that they’ve been planning it that way for two years.

DT Gerald McCoy Attacking His Rehab Aggressively

Bucs DT Gerald McCoy says he’s approaching his rehabilitation for a torn left biceps aggressively and is not worried about a possible lockout of NFL players. McCoy, the third pick in last year’s draft out of Oklahoma, spoke Sunday before the Sooners’ women’s basketball game against Baylor.
