No decision looming on Clayton for the Bucs

The Bucs do not plan on making any decision on the future of receiver Michael Clayton until after training camp.
ProFootballWeekly.com reported that Clayton is due a $1-million deferred bonus March 15 and according to their sources, the Bucs are close to 'pulling the plug,' on their seventh-year receiver.
But the deferred bonus is part of the $10-million in guarantees the team owes Clayton as part of the five-year, $24-million contract he signed in 2009.
Clayton had a career-low 16 receptions for 230 yards last season and may have an uphill fight to keep his job in 2010, despite the guaranteed money.
But there's no roster bonus or 'new money,' that would quicken a decision by the Bucs on Clayton.
