The Eric Berry Manifesto By Steve White
Published: March 4th, 2010By Bucstats.com

I don’t think I have to write another word about the benefits of the Bucs drafting Eric Berry after reading former Buccaneer Steve White’s lengthy and compelling arguments on his blog. Of course, I will keep writing Berry articles until the draft is over because I’m a huge Vols homer and maybe throwing all this orange energy out there will have some effect on Mark Dominik’s brain. But it’s nice to know I could stop now if I wanted to.
The thing to know about Eric Berry is that he is very versatile. Last year at Tennessee he played almost every position on defense aside from defensive line. He is physical when he is in the box and he is fluid with good ball skills when he is covering the back line. He is also good covering tight ends and slot receivers in one on one situations. He also is one of the best blitzers from the secondary that I have seen coming out of college football in some time.
And there are ten more paragraphs like that, going into how he can be a corner or act like a linebacker or play both safety spots. Even if it wasn’t about my boy, it’s an excellent piece of analysis. Every couple days he posts some huge and detailed football article on his blog. It’s good stuff.
