Tampa Bay continued their quest for the NFC South division crown with a 23 to 20 victory over the high-powered offense of the New Orleans Saints. Tampa Bay has been undefeated at home this season and continued that streak with their sixth win. The Buccaneers are now 9 and 3 and are tied for the division lead with the Carolina Panthers.

Defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin downplayed reports that he is leaning toward joining his son, Lane, on the University of Tennessee coaching staff, saying "it's all just speculation."
