This Can’t Be Right

Normally I wouldn’t bother reprinting something from a fantasy source because they’re usually full of shit. But this is big and there is a list of players out there now who are under investigation for that water pill scandal. Could Warrick Dunn be up for suspension?

Dunn’s playing time was limited last week due to a neck injury. If he practices without restrictions this week he makes for a fine RB3 in larger leagues. But if he’s hobbling, the Bucs may decide to pound away with [Earnest] Graham and not risk further injuring Dunn (who, by the way, could be facing a league suspension in a few weeks).

I don’t think the complete list of players was ever released, but it seems unlikely that a name like Dunn’s would escape the scrutiny of the assholes who are leaking it. But if it turns out to be true, there’s no way I can make fun of the Saints who are also on the list. Because if Dunn gets suspended under the banned-substance policy, it’s a technicality and a total load. And trust me, nothing would make me sadder than not being able to make fun of suspended Saints. Well, maybe drowning puppies. But it would have to be a lot of them.
