Bucs Sign Jameel Cook

Yeah, me and Bruce Allen are like this, baby.
The Buccaneers signed Jameel Cook yesterday, fortifying their fullback position which has lost B.J. Askew for a couple more weeks and Byron Storer for the year. In addition to probably starting at fullback right away, Cook will also help out a lot on special teams. The punt coverage team lost Storer and Maurice Stovall last week and Cook is an excellent coverage man. And just to be safe, the team signed Ryan Powdrell, another fullback, to the practice squad. Powdrell was a Southern Cal linebacker before switching to fullback and then blowing out his knee. He went undrafted in 2007 and then spent last year on Green Bay’s injured reserve. I’ll try to temper my enthusiasm. To make room for him, the Bucs cut Ben Moffitt.
Predicting Buccaneer roster moves isn’t my only magic power, you know. I can also control you through the computer. It’s true. Look deeply into the monitor. You are getting sleepy, sleeeeeeepy. There, good. Now, slowly start unbuttoning your pants. There you go. Isn’t that nice? Now take your hand…
Wait, stop! No! Not the dudes! NOT THE DUDES!
