Chris Simms Replaced By Punter

The Titans released Chris Simms today in order to make room for Josh Miller… a punter. But it’s not all bad news for Simms.

Simms, signed by the Titans on Sept. 10, is expected to be re-signed early next week. The Titans signed Miller for Sunday’s game at Baltimore in case Craig Hentrich, who was troubled by back spasms this week, is unable to play.

Uh oh. The Titans better be careful or some team is going to snatch Simms away from them while he’s out there in free agency for a week.
