Elbert Mack was suspended one game for his helmet-to-helmet hit on Matt Ryan last Sunday. This was only Mack’s second game, but he had another infraction at the end of the preseason. He was called for unnecessary roughness, and was fined $5,000. This time, not only will he miss a game, but he will be fined a game check. Also, the Bucs have released Ben Troupe, who contributed very little in the preseason and the first two games. With Jerramy Stevens coming off his suspension, it appeared the Bucs no longer needed Troupe.
