QB Garcia Has Ankle Injury, Brooks Hurt Too

The Buccaneers are off to an 0-and-1 start and now their starting quarterback is banged up. Head coach Jon Gruden said yesterday that Jeff Garcia’s ankle swelled up after their season opening loss at New Orleans. Gruden says Garcia is questionable for Sunday’s home opener against the Falcons at Raymond James Stadium. Linebacker Derrick Brooks has a strained hamstring and his status is uncertain for this week.
