Initial Depth Chart Released

Although not set in stone, the Bucs have released their initial depth chart. The starters include Jeff Garcia at quarterback, Earnest Graham at running back, Joey Galloway and Ike Hilliard at wide receiver, and the Big 3 at linebacker. Alex Smith is the starting tight end, and Luke McCown will back up Garcia at quarterback. Chris Simms is listed as the fourth QB, right in front of Josh Johnson. At this point, Greg White, Aqib Talib, Eugene Wilson, and Sabby Piscitelli are all second team players.
In related news, Luke McCown will get the start for the Bucs Saturday night, in their first preseason game against the Dolphins. Jeff Garcia is still out with an injury.
