Normal morning on practice field

As the Brett Favre story continues to swirl, all is normal at this morning's practice session. (View audio slide show)

Quarterback Brian Griese, who was conspicuously absent from yesterday's afternoon session, is back at work. However there is no sign of injured starter Jeff Garcia, who made a practice field appearance yesterday. Garcia is nursing a calf strain and said he's unlikely to play in Saturday's preseason opener.

If something does happen on the Favre front, popular belief is that it could happen soon. But we'll see.
