Coach: Packers’ “train leaving station” without Favre

In Green Bay, Packers coach Mike McCarthy spoke to the media after having elaborate conversations with Brett Favre. He wouldn’t address trade possibilities, but it definitely appears that Favre's days in with the Packers are over.

"The football team is moving forward,” McCarthy said. “The train has left the station, whatever analogy you want. He needs to jump on the train and let’s go or if we can’t get past all the things that happened … I have to keep the train moving.”
