Guess What Torrie Cox Tore

For the third time in his six year NFL career, Torrie Cox tore his ACL. In 2003, it was his left. Then last year he tore his right. Then he got hurt a couple days ago and no one asked what it was, they were just taking bets on which knee. And the winner is... left!
"It's a tough blow,'' coach Jon Gruden said. "We missed him last season. He really did work hard to come back and it's just a shame.''
The team placed him on injured reserve, so he's out for the year, but as a practical matter Cox is done period. He was never going to be more than a dimeback anyway, and now that Eugene Wilson is starting to show some promise at corner and Aqib Talib is, for the most part, impressing, there's no need to continue to pay a guy to rehab. Since an ACL tear takes several months to heal, chances are Cox won't accept an injury settlement to be released, so he'll linger on the IR list until the end of the season and then be cut with two years left on his deal. Anyone else want me to tell them their future?
