Jeff Garcia As A Safety

Not now, of course. Can you imagine him trying to tackle, say, Steve Smith coming across the middle? It would be like he was trapped in the Matrix.
But one time in high school when the other quarterbacks had passed him up on the depth chart, Jeff Garcia played free safety.
Garcia was one of three quarterbacks selected to play for the South all-star team in 1988, but little did he know that the other would get the top jobs behind the center while he was vanquished to the defensive secondary."I went into that all-star week of practice thinking I was going to be one of the starting quarterbacks," he would say later. But it was Dan Hall of Leigh and Hector Siqueiros of Independence who were getting the snaps in practice, and "after a couple of days they asked me if I could play another position."
He intercepted a pass that night as a free safety.
I have to admit, I would have loved to see that. A young Jeff Garcia, head full of hair, running up and down the field, shedding fullback and tight end blocks, stuffing runs and popping wide receivers. A guy who, you know, did what the team needed without complaint.

Sorry for the picture, but I have run out of decent Carmella pictures that don't show any of the naughty parts. There just aren't any more. So, instead of giving up and going back to Jeff for Jeff stories, I'm going to give you the naughty parts (of Carmella, not Jeff. Stop putting gross images in my head.) Every time I run a Jeff Garcia story, I am going to post the above picture. But if you click the picture, it will change into a completely NSFW picture of his wife. I'm not kidding. If you click the above picture at work and you get caught, you'll get fired and you'll deserve it. The good news is that you can click it again to get Jeff back and no one will know. Give it a try and let me know if you have any troubles with it.
