Meanwhile, partying in paradise at Aura Nightclub in the Bahamas were quite a few big shots of the NFL. Stephen Cooper and Shaun Phillips of the San Diego Chargers, Michael Clayton and Alex Smith of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Stanley Wilson of the Detroit Lions were all spotted sipping Dom Pérignon champagne and Patron Silver on the dance floor of the hottest club in the Caribbean.

Since when is anyone on the Lions considered an NFL big shot? Another season like last year and they'll be part of the Big Ten.

Smith is a native Bahamian (Bahamamian? Bahamanite?) so it's no surprise that he'd choose to spend his off time there. I'll be most interested to see what kind of condition Clayton is in when he shows up to camp on the first day. Everyone deserves a vacation, but he's been notoriously lax in his offseason conditioning in previous years before coming to minicamp this year looking thinner and faster. He's got two weeks to work off whatever he puts on in the Bahamas.
