Kevin Jones Not Visiting After All?

According to his agent, Kevin Jones does not have a visit scheduled with the Buccaneers this week.

"I saw that on T.V. last night and it's not true," [Tony] Fleming said. "Unless something happens today, I don't know that report to be true. "

The team's interest would be minimal anyway, so whether they wind up bringing him in or not probably doesn't matter. There is nothing so special about Jones that they would cut one of their current big three to give him a shot. The running back position is fine for this season. Unless, of course, their nine running backs fall victim to nine separate misfortunes and are unable to play. But that will never happen. Three misfortunes, that's possible. Seven misfortunes, there's an outside chance. But nine misfortunes? I'd like to see that!
