Cato June Not In Long-Term Plans?

I was reading this Roy Cummings story about voluntary workouts and noticed this quote by linebacker coach Gus Bradley:
"The talent has always been there, and now we're starting to see the consistency we want from him," Bradley said of [Quincy] Black. "He runs a 4.4 40-yard dash, so he can really get around and make plays."And if we continue to see that, then in a couple of years, when Cato June has to move or something, well, we feel like Quincy can possibly move into that spot and we'll be just fine. In fact, with his speed, we could be even faster."
Now, Bradley could either mean that in a couple years, when Derrick Brooks retires, June will move into Brooks's spot, which would be fine. Or he could mean that June will eventually be released because he will be too expensive to keep around compared to some of the younger guys like Black. Which, to be fair, may also be fine depending on how good Black is as a starter on the strongside. But it seems like something Bradley might want to clarify.
Oh, and did you like how the word "voluntary" is in quotes all six times it is in the Tribune's story? It's a very "subtle" and "clever" way of implying that those workouts aren't really voluntary. It takes a lot of "skill" and "thought" to employ a trick like that. Way to go, Roy.
