Arron Sears Gets Some Love

Arron Sears has been named by Pat Kirwin as one of ten players who has a good shot at making their first Pro Bowls in 2008.

Coaches around the league continually brought his name up as a dominating run blocker and a player they would love to have on their team.

Looking at his list, I can't really say I disagree with any of those selections. Of course they won't all make it, but each of them look poised to have a great season in 2008. The thing Sears has going against him is that offensive linemen are often chosen by reputation and popularity rather than actual production for that season. Chances are he'll have to have a couple really good years in a row before he makes the Pro Bowl for the first time. But that's cool. He'll be in this league a long time.
