Juran Bolden Cut By The Blue Bombers

Former Buccaneer cornerback Juran Bolden was cut by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in a salary cap move.
"We would have loved to have him in camp, but I didn't have any options," said [Brendan] Taman. "Sure, he did (want to negotiate) but to get to the level we needed to get to is almost a slap in his face to even offer that to him. He deserves what he earned last year and we weren't able to accommodate him."
He has received some interest from the Texans and may go there if it works out. The Bucs' cornerback situation is pretty good now, so I don't think anyone is considering bringing him back. I have to admit, the only reason I even wrote this entry was so I could post this picture, which I find inexplicably amusing. I hear that the residents of Manitoba are excited to be getting color film in the near future.
