Even though I was hoping it wouldn’t happen, the eventual signing of Warrick Dunn and the draft selection of Cory Boyd have forced Michael Pittman out of Tampa. Reported earlier today, Pittman is now a member of the Denver Broncos, ending his tenure with the Bucs. In 6 seasons with Tampa, Pittman ran the ball 798 times for 3,362 yards and 10 touchdowns. His 78-yard scamper is the longest in Tampa history. Perhaps his most memorable performance came in the Super Bowl, where he ran for 124 yards, and narrowly missed out as the MVP to Dexter Jackson. Michael Pittman is has always been valuable, and will be missed greatly. Best of luck to you Michael.
