Marcus Thomas Likes Drugs

Back in July, I said that one thing I wanted to do was see who made more of an impact as a rookie, Quincy Black or Marcus Thomas, the defensive tackle that Denver selected in the fourth round and someone whom I was a fan of the Bucs picking.
Black, while playing mostly on special teams, had 24 tackles. Thomas, who was rotated into the defensive line while also playing special teams, had 19 tackles.
But in the area of offseason cocaine busts, Thomas takes the lead, 1-0.
Denver Broncos defensive tackle Marcus Thomas was arrested in Clay County and charged with possession of a controlled substance during a traffic stop early Saturday, according to Thomas' attorney and an Orange Park Police Department arrest log.
Remember Thomas was suspended for most of his senior year at Florida (surprise!) for his continued drug use. It's looking more like Thomas is just another gifted player who will never get his shit together enough to fulfill his potential. I probably would have taken Thomas in the third. It's things like this that continue to give me hope that Bruce Allen has this all figured out and I'm just not smart enough to understand it yet.
