Wade On His Way Out?

Unfortunately, there isn’t much going on in Buccaneers land. However, with free agency approaching Friday, and no deal in place, the Bucs might be parting ways with 5 year starting center John Wade. He just ended his 11th year in the league, and his last contract year with the Bucs. Things aren’t looking good. Most of the Bucs 10 unrestricted free agents remain without a deal, including Earnest Graham. Greg White is one of the few with a deal locked up. The Bucs have been looking to upgrade the center position, as well as the rest of the offensive line. Wade was the veteran leader on the line last season, proving as the strongest player when it came to protecting his quarterback. He’s been with the Bucs awhile now, and I don’t think he should go anywhere else. Bruce Allen has been making some questionable moves this offseason, including not giving a contract to Earnest Graham, and letting longtime Buccaneer Brian Kelly walk away. Hopefully the right decision will be made with Wade, although the Bucs can still pick up a young center in the draft, and hang onto him for the future.
