Bucs Raise Ticket Prices For 6th Consecutive Year

            

For those of you who go to Raymond James Stadium to get your Buccaneers fix, it will cost you more to do so during the 2008 season; the team announced the details of their general ticket offerings for the 2008 season.  In it, you will find a mixed bag of good and bad news.

The bad news - although not exactly unexpected - is that ticket prices are on the rise; this would be the 6th consecutive year that the Bucs have increased ticket prices.  The increases appear to have been levied at every level of seating; last year’s high of $76 for the priciest single-game ticket will rise to $99 - a 30% increase.  Most seats will, however, cost between $5 and $10 more, according to a news release detailing the ticket plan.  the least expensive general seating ticket will rise from $31.50 to $42.

The good news is that original season-ticket holders whose 10-year agreements expired in 2007 will not be required to put down an additional deposit; the remainder of their deposits - first required in 1998 and equal to the price of the seat - will continue to be refunded in 5% increments per year.  The Bucs are also only requiring a 3-year contract for those whose tickets have expired.
