My apologies for leaving this award out of the awards circle. It is very much an award, and it is going to be presented at this time. This award goes to the most outstanding rookie for the Buccaneers Class of 2007.

And the Atop the Crow’s Nest Award for Rookie of the Year goes too:

Tanard Jackson!

In his first year out of Syracuse, Jackson marveled the Buccaneers with his outstanding abilities. In 2007, he had 78 tackles, 12 passes defended, and 2 interceptions. Drafted in the 4th round, Jackson was arguably the Bucs biggest steal in the draft. He filled in at a safety position that had been hurting, and played every game like a pro. Congratulations, Mr. Jackson!
