Chucky, Allen, Kiffin Sticking Around

Even though he started the season on the “hot seat,” Coach Jon Gruden is coming back. Yesterday, Jon Gruden and GM Bruce Allen each received 3-year extensions on their contracts, keeping them around until at least 2011. It’s a great move by the Bucs upper management. Also, much loved defensive coordinator Monte Kiffin is staying as well. Following a season where the Bucs defense was number 2 in the league, Kiffin was given a two-year contract, worth two million a year. With the coaching staff mainly intact, the Bucs will have great leadership for the future, as they look forward to many more playoff runs.
