While the Bucs will enter the 2008 season as the defending NFC South Champs, there is already plenty to talk about this offseason when it comes to moves within the team.  Two positions that will be highly discussed are running back and wide receiver, which were two spots the team needs to come right out and address.

As for the running back spot, the Southwest Florida News-Press in it’s year end review stated that you can look for RB Earnest Graham, who had a great run after Cadillac Williams went down, to get a new deal soon.  Graham will enter 08 as the starter and Williams’ future will have to do with the rehab on his knee.  The paper says the team may also look at free agent backs, with Michael Turner of the Chargers being at the top of the list.

As for wide out, look for a deal or high profile free agent to be in Tampa Bay in 08 says the paper.  How about Randy Moss (free agent) or Chad Johnson (through a trade) in Tampa Bay?  That’s what the paper says, as it’s a spot that they need to get addressed sooner rather than later with Joey Galloway as the only real threat of the bunch.  Michael Clayton, Ike Hillard and Maurice Stovall did nothing to give the team much confidence to go back to them in the 2008 season.
