Lane Kiffin Must Be Stopped

The talk about Lane Kiffin trying to take his dad away to Oakland is probably nothing more than baseless chatter. Monte Kiffin is too old to pick up and start somewhere new again and with the Tampa Bay defense performing so well this year, I'm sure the Glazers will be happy to pony up for Monte to hang around for another year or two until he's ready to retire.
But this bullshit about Lane wanting to take Raheem Morris is just fucking mean.
People in the Raiders front office and others close to Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive backs coach Raheem Morris confirm Kiffin has his sights set upon luring away Morris.
It could actually have some truth to it since Morris is young and eager to be a defensive coordinator. If Monte doesn't have a definite time table for when he wants to be done with football, Morris may decide he wants to push his career forward somewhere else if the opportunity arises. And with Rex Ryan practically collecting unemployment already, Oakland is about to have a position open.
Outside of Jeff Garcia, Morris was the most important addition to the team this year. Jermaine Phillips improved beyond what I thought possible and Tanard Jackson should have at least been mentioned in the ROTY conversation (and we all know Sabby Piscitelli would have walked away with award if he hadn't been on IR.) Morris has brought the spark back to the secondary that it was missing last year, and all of them are playing better as a result.
Lane Kiffin, keep your hands off our man! You'll never love him like we love him! Get your own!
