It took long enough but Sunday’s NFC wild card playoff game between the Buccaneers and Giants at Raymond James Stadium is now sold out for television purposes so there won’t be a blackout. There are still about 500 tickets remaining. Most of them are pricey club level seats. This after the Bucs and Ticketmaster were forced to open up ticket sales to those living outside of the state of Florida.

New York lawmakers and a top New York lawyer challenged Ticketmaster’s policy to prevent non-Florida residents from buying tickets. On the injury front for Tampa Bay, guard Aaron Sears practiced on a limited basis yesterday with that sprained ankle and should play. However, linebacker Cato June sat out practice again with a foot injury and is questionable. Meanwhile, the Giants could be without linebacker and USF alum Kawika Mitchell and center Shaun O’Hara. Both haven’t practiced all week with knee injuries. Starting cornerback Sam Madison also missed practice with an abdominal strain and is also questionable.
