Bucs Making Final Prep for Texans

The 8-and-4 Buccaneers are making final preparations for Sunday’s game against the 5-and-7 Texans in Houston. Bucs quarterback Jeff Garcia practiced on a limited basis again yesterday and says his lower back is improving. Head coach Jon Gruden is not naming a starter just yet. If Garcia can’t go, Luke McCown will make his second straight start. McCown was brilliant last week in leading Tampa Bay to a come from behind win at New Orleans. Texans quarterback Matt Schaub has missed practice this week because of a dislocated non-throwing shoulder and won’t play this week. Sage Rosenfels will get the start. The Bucs can clinch the NFC South with a victory over the Texans and a Carolina loss at Jacksonville.
