Bucs-Texans Injury Report Coming Today

The 8-and-4 Buccaneers are back on the practice field today as they get ready for Sunday’s game against the 5-and-7 Texans at Houston. Both teams will release their injury report today and all eyes will be on the Bucs’ quarterback situation. Jeff Garcia missed Sunday’s win at New Orleans with bruised lower back.
During his Monday press conference, head coach Jon Gruden says he is optimistic regarding Garcia. The coach did say he wants Garcia to practice this week in order for him to play. Garcia’s replacement, Luke McCown, hit Jerramy Stevens with a four-yard touchdown pass with 14 seconds left to give Tampa Bay a big comeback win at New Orleans. McCown completed his first 15 passes and finished the game 29-of-37 for 313 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The Texans will update the status of quarterback Matt Schaub, who dislocated his non-throwing shoulder last week against the Titans.
