Some reporter in Dallas has called Ronde Barber the "anti-Deion", which he means as a compliment because Ronde is willing to tackle whereas Deion would actively avoid it. It's an ok read if you're bored at work.

Gradkowski Or McCown As Garcia’s Backup?

With starting quarterback Jeff Garcia hurting, the Buccaneers are trying to decide who will be the backup.  Bruce Gradkowski got into the game against the Redskins and was ineffective to say the least.  Gradkowski was just 9-of-19 for 106 yards.  Head coach Jon Gruden was non-committal on naming Gradkowski as the backup for Sunday’s game at New Orleans.  There’s a chance Luke McCown may leapfrog Gradkowski for the number-two spot.  And there’s a decent chance Garcia may not be able to go Sunday, which means the Bucs have a decision to make as to who will get the majority of the practice reps this week.

Even The Colts Didn’t Want Simeon

The Colts released Simeon Rice after only two games. No word yet on if Rice was muttering to himself about Tony Dungy or Bill Polian on his way out, but you know in his first interview after this, he will probably make them out to be complete assholes while he somehow becomes the victim.
