Get Well Soon, David Garrard. Sometime Next Week Would Be Good.

If you Tivoed the Monday Night game, go back to when Ed Johnson sacked David Garrard and run through the play in slow motion. You can actually pinpoint the second when his ankle rips in half. Watch his face -- normal, normal, normal, AAAAIIIIEEEEEEEEE!! Jack Del Rio thinks he'll miss a game because of it. I guess it looked a lot worse than it really was.
"I would think in all likelihood he'll be missing some time," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said. "I'll know more tomorrow, but he tweaked it pretty good."
Garrard's replacement, Quinn Gray, was intercepted twice in a quarter-and-a-half after Garrard had gone the whole season without one. Gray's second play from scrimmage was an interception. He ended the game 9 of 24 for 56 yards and a passer rating of 11.1. So, yeah, Jack... if I were you, I'd sit Garrard for a week. You can't be too careful. No need putting him out there against a non-conference opponent when he's not 100%, right?
