Someone Please Roll Barrett Ruud Up In Bubble Wrap

Barrett Ruud was "limited" in practice yesterday because of his knee. Jeremiah Trotter will probably be active on Sunday as a result. Outside of Ronde Barber, Ruud is the player the Bucs can least afford to lose on defense, especially if Trotter is the backup. I like Trotter against the run for a while, but his knees are basically made out of peanut brittle these days. Once he goes, then who? Ruud has been excellent both in both the running and passing game this year and has really held the defense together.

The good news is that Jon Gruden said he expects Ruud to play. I don't think there will be a problem, but it couldn't hurt if someone just pushed Ruud around in a wheelchair for the rest of the week. Where's Arthur Blank when you need him?
