Tampa Bay On Ricky’s Short List

According to the Miami Herald, Ricky Williams listed the Buccaneers as one of the teams he'd like to play for if he gets re-instated.

He hopes to generate interest from, in particular, Tampa Bay, Green Bay, Dallas, Houston or New England, assuming Miami dumps him.

Wow, he'd want to play for one of the undefeated teams? That's very bold. Green Bay may be interested because they have running back issues and a quarterback who can empathize with a guy with drug problems (or as I call them, drug non-problems.) The rest of those teams, though, are doing fine. Even if he were released outright and took the veteran minimum, keep him out of Tampa Bay. The Dolphins never got their shit back together after Williams deserted them just before camp a couple years ago. He is a cancer and will let down whatever team takes him.

And if that's not enough reason for you, here he is with Scott Stapp of Creed.

With arms wide open, I wrap you up in a carpet and throw you off a bridge.

If you can think of a bigger jackass, you'll have to tell me who it is because I'm drawing a total blank. I went through three monitors making this post because every time I saw that picture, I put my fist through it. I'd rather be trapped in a room with Gilbert Godfried and Kathy Griffin as they sang the full score of Camelot naked than listen to a Creed song. Bruce Allen needs to enact a general rule that he will not sign anyone who has ever been seen in public with Scott Stapp.
