Julius Peppers Can Be Stopped

Eric Winston did a good job of holding Julius Peppers back and giving Matt Schaub time to throw. Winston was selected 66th overall in the 2006 draft. Jeremy Trueblood, who will have to go against Peppers when the Panthers and Bucs meet, was selected 59th in the same draft.
Peppers is great, but he's not unstoppable. And Carolina definitely looks beatable this season. The Bucs play the Panthers at the crappily-named Bank of America Stadium on September 30. Before that, though, they play Atlanta. Which means that, at this point in the season, Bucs fans should cheer for... sigh.... the Falcons to win that game. Or for a wormhole to open up underneath the Georgia Dome next Sunday at 4:15 PM, sucking out all matter and transporting it into the center of the sun. That, too, would be acceptable.
