David Boston Can Finally Get The Sleep He Needs

The Buccaneers just released David Boston and re-signed Mark Jones. I'm sure it was because of the emotional pressure Joe Henderson put on him with his shittacular article. Or it could just be because Bruce Allen is a decent general manager. Either way.

Ok, I'll stop now.

The move is actually not so consequential. It was becoming evident that Boston couldn't regain his Arizona form and he wasn't going to be all that involved with the defense anyway. Jones is an experienced punt returner, but I really liked what Ike Hilliard and Joey Galloway were doing with the job during the Seattle game. If not for the penalties that called both of their big returns back... well, the Bucs still would have lost, but maybe by 8 or 11 instead of 14.

At least now he can date rape himself all day long without worrying about getting fired.
