Michael Clayton On The Trading Block?

Adam Schefter reported on NFL Network that the Bucs may be shopping Michael Clayton for a possible trade. Then he goes on to say that it probably won't happen.
Thus, each of the receivers' names have come up in trade talks, however unlikely it is that any will actually be dealt. So far, no teams have expressed enough of a desire to trade for any of these receivers and it's possible and even likely that Clayton and [Chris] Chambers will wind up starting opening day for their respective teams.
There was talk over training camp about Clayton not being guaranteed a spot on the roster, but I never bought it. He may not be everything we had all hoped, but he's still one of the best five or six receivers on the team, so he'll make it. That is, unless some team somewhere released a superior receiver this week. The biggest names that were let go yesterday are David Terrell and David Kircus, both from the Broncos. Terrell is widely regarded as a first round bust and Kircus has pending assault charges and a possible suspension hanging over his head. I don't see either of those guys as an upgrade over Clayton.
