Preseason Game 2 Summary

Matt Lehr is not helping his cause with his messy snaps. Quarterback/center exchange should be mindless and instinctive. This is why John Wade will probably start the season. Even though he isn't a devastating blocker, he's got the whole snap thing down cold.
I'm not sure what the criticism is about Jeff Garcia. I thought he looked fine.
Michael Clayton had one reception for 8 yards. Maurice Stovall have one reception for 5 yards and a fumble. If this is one of the biggest battles in preseason, shouldn't these guys be getting more work?
Kevin Carter started at left defensive end, but got his only sack at under tackle. The sack was almost a gimme, though. It looked like it was the result of a miscommunication between the Jacksonville center and guard. They just stopped blocking him. That shouldn't take away from his performance, though. He was constantly in the Jacksonville backfield.
Huge respect to Luke McCown for chasing down Jamaal Fudge before he scored. McCown is a lot faster than people realize and that one play saved three points.
Is Gaines Adams doing so well because he is a gamer or because this is still the preseason and he's going against lesser players? During camp he didn't look nearly this good. He can even be seen downfield on a running play, which you'd never see from Simeon Rice.
Tanard Jackson was born to tackle. Very nice performance at the goalline. Sabby Piscitelli also did well, but not as good as Jackson. Piscitelli made the Maurice Jones-Drew tackle that Adam Hayward missed, but also missed at least one of his own.
Kenneth Darby is still in the lead for that last running back spot, but that fumble had everyone shaking their heads. The running game as a whole was pretty sad, for that matter.
