Got 2 Try A New Position: Cornerback

Ronde Barber: Barber looked better in camp than he has for the last couple years, but the preseason games have been a bit sloppy. He has missed a couple open field tackles which have resulted in added yardage after the catch.
Phillip Buchanon: Buchanon's camp was a little sloppy. He got beaten a few times by lesser players and was chastised a couple times for not adequately re-routing receivers. He hasn't made any splash plays in the preseason so far, but he has three tackles in the two games, which isn't bad.
Torrie Cox: Cox will serve a four game suspension at the beginning of the season, assuming the EEOC doesn't declare him handicapped. He will probably be brought back on the roster after he serves his time, though. He had a decent camp and made a few nice plays.
Sammy Davis: Davis has really underperformed for a first round pick. He came along better at the very end of camp, but for the most part hasn't been any better than some of the rookies. He's also been practically invisible in the preseason; Charles Sharron burned him at least once against Jacksonville. I had high hopes that Davis could be a nice reclamation project, but it's not happening.
Marcus Hamilton: Hamilton started off slow but has been consistently improving. He did very well against Jacksonville and may actually see the active roster during the Cox suspension.
Carlos Hendricks: Miserable camp and slow to pick up the schemes.
Brian Kelly: Kelly came back from his toe injury with a great first half of camp. After that, he seemed to be getting held out more and more. I don't know if that was because of some nagging injury or because Jon Gruden just wanted to rest him. It makes me a little nervous, but you saw the secondary without him last year.
Alan Zemaitis: Remember how excited we all were last year because Zemaitis had all that Cover 2 experience and was going to be the eventual replacement to Kelly who would surely be released because of his contract? Now he may not even make the team. Zemaitis has shown flashes of promise but is mostly just getting burned. He simply can't keep up with David Boston and Maurice Stovall. Unless he makes some kind of huge impression on special teams, he's going to be on the bubble and if Davis had been any better, Zemaitis would have no shot.
Making the team: Barber (starter), Kelly (starter), Buchanon, Zemaitis, Hamilton (for the first four games), Cox (for the last twelve games)
