Nothing pisses off the general population of working men who watch the NFL more than a 22-year old pretty boy being prepaid eight figures for work that he hasn't done yet in a job that he may suck at for an employer who may not even want him in a couple years. I'm telling you, a rookie pay scale is the way to go, and distribute the rest of the cap to the veterans so you don't have to go cutting all your proven players.
