Everyone except Joey Galloway was practicing in the morning.

AC/DC blared out of the speakers, which was obviously by Jon Gruden's request. Seriously, how many players on the roster really listen AC/DC in their spare time?

Jerramy Stevens split out at wide receiver several times.

Michael Pittman and B.J. Askew took most of the reps at fullback despite the presence of Byron Storer and the new guy, Zach Tuiasasopo.

Sabby Piscitelli and Tanard Jackson were on the starting defense in 9-on-7s. I don't think this is any kind of sign, though.

Alan Zemaitis continues to get burned.

So many dropped passes. David Boston, Chad Lucas, Maurice Stovall and Cadillac Williams all had drops.

Chris Simms got some more reps in the morning and still looked bad. He can, however, roll out of the pocket effectively.

Gruden ran 1-on-1s and put offense against defense for the prize of an extra hour of freedom before curfew. The match-ups were: Matt Lehr vs. Chris Hovan (tie), Davin Joseph vs. Kevin Carter (Carter), Jeremy Trueblood vs. Greg White (White), Arron Sears vs. Jovan Haye (Sears), Lehr vs. Ellis Wyms (Lehr), Donald Penn vs. Gaines Adams (Penn), Anthony Davis vs. Patrick Chukwurah (Chukwurah), Alex Smith vs. Quincy Black (Black). Defense was given the extra hour. It is important to note that Penn not only beat Adams, he dominated him.

Even though a lot of guys missed afternoon practice, Luke Petitgout wasn't one of them.

One of the many times Alan Zemaitis got toasted.
