Shelton Quarles Back With The Bucs As A Pro Scout

The reason Shelton Quarles was visiting Buccaneer training camp a few days ago was because he was in the process of getting hired as a team pro scout.

"It's a good fit for me," he said. "I understand the game of football and hopefully the strengths I have will allow me to be successful in this new endeavor. I'm excited about an opportunity to be a part of the organization again. The Bay area and the Buccaneers have always been my choice, on the field or off the field."

Boy, that sure sounds different than the way Steve Duemig made it out to be. Remember when the team cut Quarles and Duemig went on his hate spree saying that Quarles was bitter and angry? Hear that sound? That's the sound of backpedaling.
