Kenyatta Walker Is Lucky

I had previously ignored Kenyatta Walker's visit with the Panthers earlier in the week because it's Kenyatta Walker and Carolina does have standards (even if they don't apply to the cheerleaders.) But yesterday afternoon Jeremy Bridges, Carolina's starting right tackle, was arrested for a crime which combines two of man's favorite hobbies.

Carolina Panthers offensive lineman Jeremy Bridges was arrested Thursday afternoon, charged with assault by pointing a gun at a dancer in the parking lot of a gentleman's club.

Guns and strippers! Two great tastes that taste great together! No, wait... let me rethink that one.

My inside sources tell me that the tipster who sent the police after Bridges last night was a man named Schmenyatta Schmalker. I'd like to thank Schmalker for making the streets of Charlotte a little safer today. And it looks like Walker may have one more charmed season of NFL pay for Arena League play ahead of him. Well done.
