Bucs Camp Starts Today - Top 3 Rookies Still Unsigned

The players have to report to camp by 4:00 this afternoon, with the first practice starting tomorrow morning. Even though Cadillac Williams made it in under the wire in 2005, chances are that Gaines Adams won't be around for the first practice this year. A little more surprising is that the last overall pick of the second round, Sabby Piscitelli, may also be sitting out a while.

The agent for Piscitelli indicated late Wednesday that the two sides were still not close to an agreement.

Bruce Allen has a way of making things happen when it gets down to crunch time, so we will likely see some signings late tonight or sometime tomorrow.

And just because I'm a stickler for these things, the following statement is incorrect:

I guarantee the Bucs' second pick, guard Arron Sears, will not play an important role on defense.
