Henry Burris + Akili Smith = Craptacular Football!

I only include this post because Akili Smith was at one time a Buccaneer allocation to NFL Europe and also because I get to write an amazing sentence. In one sentence, I can encapsulate why nobody except Canadians give any shits about the CFL, and even they're just one notch above ambivalent.

Akili Smith, in relief of Henry Burris for the Calgary Stampeders, threw three interceptions in a single quarter.

Ta da! Isn't that amazing? It's like a perfect storm of suck. For one brief quarter, everything that was good and pure about football was flushed into the black hole of Calgary and obliterated by the gravitational singularity known as McMahon Stadium. Amazing. Enjoy your weekend!
