Michael Clayton Thinks Jeff Garcia Is The Best

Michael Clayton did a spot on the Bubba the Love Sponge show yesterday afternoon. Because Clayton is not a naked, coked-out stripper with a ridiculous tit job and a regrettable self-esteem issue, the interview was not among Bubba's best. However, Clayton did let fly that Jeff Garcia was the best quarterback he has played with in Tampa Bay. I can see that, but I wonder how the statement went over with his good buddy Chris Simms. Garcia has gotten nothing but high praise from everyone on the team who has talked about him. You always hype the starter, but it appears that Simms is rapidly losing support.

The good news for Simms is that as long as Jake Plummer stays away, he has a pretty good shot at making the team. And nothing has happened on that front to indicate that he is changing his mind about taking a year off.
