Bring Back the Orange

Hello Bucs fans, it's your old friend, NFL Adam from The Hater Nation. As many of you know, THN has a lot of respect for our Patron Saint, Jon Gruden, and the entire Bucs organization. You have brought this Raiders-hater much joy in the form of Super Bowl 37 (as yours truly was seated in Jack Murphy Stadium that night). The Los Angeles Rams won it's only NFC Championship Game in team history in Tampa. So there is a lot of respect to be had for the Bucs.
But come on, there needs to be some love given for the old Buccaneers uniform. NFL.com displays the old-school logos of all of its teams during Thanksgiving Weekend, save for one team, the Buccaneers. (The Jags and Panthers don't count.) Why does the Glazer family have such distain for the old orange and cream? You would have to assume that the Glazer's view the old orange uniforms the same way that Elizabeth Berkley looks at Showgirls. But Berkley has admitted that she can watch the movie now without recalling in horror and she's never won the Academy Award.
With a Super Bowl firmly entrenched, the Buccaneers need to take ownership of its history. The Bucs did have a few bad years (maybe decades) in those uniformans and hey, it's cool to make a new tradition.
A lot of great players from Lee Roy Selmon, Ricky Bell and Doug Williams wore the orange, as did Coach McKay. Not recognizing the old school uniforms is shameful and Bucs fans should demand that the organization bring back the orange and cream at least once this season.
